About Us: Sage-Code is an independent freelance bootcamp. We study software engineering and programming languages. Join us for tech-transition, gain work experience, improve your skills, innovate and contribute back with your skills to teach others. We learn and work together on disruptive and useful software applications.
Sage-Code Laboratory (SCL) was founded in 2010 by a group of software engineers who wanted to create a high quality platform for learning computer science and software engineering. We host various resource for students, professionals, enterpreneurs and anyone who wants to learn more about these topics. We offer on-line training courses, 101 on demand mentoring and SaaS applications.
What is freelancing?
Freelancing in programming means working as a self-employed software developer. Instead of a single company, you contract your coding skills to various clients on a project-by-project basis. This gives you freedom in choosing projects, work hours, and work location. Freelancers are hard working self motivated persons that get te job done.

- 101 Mentoring: Gain personalized guidance and support to learn your first programming language on us. You can chose the language from a list of 21 languages.
Advanced Programmers
- Self-Directed Learning: Experienced programmers can delve deeper into their chosen programming language or explore new ones at their own pace through our library.
- Subscription Option: With a monthly subscription, you'll gain continuous support from our experts, for learning multiple other programming language.
Subscription & donations: We need a small budget to cover our domain hosting services and infrastructure. You can make one time donation or subscribe on Ko-Fi website to suport our training program. After you made a donation you can claim 101 support on Discord by using DM (Dirrect Messages) to mentors.You should join Discord before making first donation. Engineering
This course is recommended for students in Computer Science, engineers, freelancers and computer enthusiasts. We cover fundamental concepts on various engineering topics including: logic, programming paradigms, prompt engineering, architecture, web design, databases, data science, cybersecurity, version control, testing, compilers, platforms, networks & devices.
Programming
This course is design for beginners who wish to study how to code. We teach syntax and semantic for top programming languages using live streaming, videos recordings, text articles, logic charts and code snippets. For every language, we have a prep quiz, to validate your knowledge. Follow this course to learn how to read, write and debug software projects of higher qualty.
Business Program
Our organization support independent freelancers and enterprereurs. We develop artificial languages, compilers, frameworks and SaaS. We study high performance computing, generative programming, data structures and algorithms. Join us to learn how to work in a team and collaborate to code for real projects and costumers.
Projects
We host open source projects for learning and private projects for SaaS business. Our code-base is protected to avoid trolling and piracy. Anyone can contribute to Sage-Code open source projects but only selected members can participate to SaaS projects. The most active members can apply to join our core team, and work on private projects to earn sweat equity.
Services
We offer support & services for hosting SaaS projects using cloud computing and local servers. Our services are scheduled to run automatically with scripts and chron jobs. We use customized, efficient GPU micro-servers for in-house data processiong. You can register a project at no cost, then subscribe for services. Press the button below for details.
Security & Credentials
Our courses do not require registration. You can visit and study on your own pace. However for taking a quiz you need Google account. You can follow the courses without it, but can't take the quiz to validate your knowledge. In this case, we will not be able to endorse you for your next job because we do not know who you are.
For 101 mentoring and continuous support, you need a Discord account. We maintain a community of mentors and students that share resources and help each other. Recently we have notice recruiters are joining our community and post job requirements. We offer customized training and guidance to apply to a specific job.
When you join Discord we preffer to see your nickname and real picture, but you can use a cartoon instead to remain anonymous. We do not limit access to our courses for age, gender or race. There is no gate. Our courses are free for everybody who wish to study. On Discord you can find links to extra resources and access to our network.
Privacy policy: We respect your privacy and keep your identity secret. Sage-Code organization is GDPR compliant. We don't have a registry or database that can be hacked and we don't collect any identifiable data about our users. Our communication channels are encrypted and private. This strategy has proven to be effective against any spammers, trolls and hackers! 🗝️🔒
